Wednesday Wordplay – Extreme Cow Tipping

One of the crueler pastimes I heard about in college – my first college, the one in south Georgia, surrounded by innumerable miles of cows – was an activity known as cow tipping.

For those in the dark, cow tipping allegedly involves some mixture of mischievous, drunk, or bored guys and a cow asleep on its feet.  Said pranksters broadside the cow, knocking it flat on its side, then bolt for the fence to escape any “beefy” repercussions.

I never participated in this activity; nor did I ever hear of it being attempted on a bull.  If such an attempt were to be made on a dozing bull, however, I’m pretty sure I know how it should be done and what it should be called:  BULLDOZING!
