Falcone's Crossroads

Where This Meets That

Friday Five – Bueller? Bueller?

John Hughes’s 1986 comedy Ferris Bueller’s Day Off is one of my all time favorite comedies.  Matthew Broderick is legendary in the leading role, embodying all the boyish charm and charisma we all know and love so well.  But, even though Hughes said he was writing the script with Broderick in mind, several other interesting choices for actors were considered. Bueller Depp

Here are five other actors you might be surprised to learn were also considered for the iconic role of Ferris Bueller.

1) Johnny Depp

2) Robert Downey, Jr.

3) Tom Cruise

4) Jim Carrey

5) John Cusack

How’s that for considering alternate histories?

Have a great weekend, Everyone!
