Where This Meets That

15 Years of Marital Bliss!

“A man in love is incomplete until he has married.  Then he’s finished.”
– Zsa Zsa Gabor

In the words of Zsa Zsa Gabor, I’ve been “finished” for fifteen years today. If you haven’t already done so, I invite you to read our amazing wedding story here.

Christy and MeOver the years, Christy has repeatedly revealed herself as the single greatest blessing in my life.  Five times, she’s sacrificed her own life to bring another into the world, and without her as the bridal head of our family, we simply could not function.

Life isn’t easy, but it’s made infinitely easier with a good partner.  My wife is an amazing gift to the world, and I’m ever grateful to God that I get to live with her!

Happy Anniversary, My Love, and here’s to the next fifteen!

    p.s. Guess you’ve shown the ridiculousness of this article that I saw today, too – http://www.cnn.com/2013/06/21/opinion/laslocky-monogamy-marriage/index.html?eref=mrss_igoogle_cnn. {Insert eye roll here.}

    Yeah, I’ve thought before about how sacramental marriage is vulnerable to longer life expectancies; I don’t think there is any doubt that monogamy goes against man’s “animal” nature . . . but that’s probably another post for another day. 🙂
