Falcone's Crossroads

Where This Meets That

First Shots off My Birthday Camera

Learning to properly use my new Nikon D3200 will be a long, slow process.  I guess that’s why there’s the “Auto” setting.

This weekend, I took a few shots at blooms around the yard.  I’m especially proud of some of our hydrangea blossoms this year . . . check out this beauty!

I just love the color contrast between these hydrangeas and these pink gladiolas.

Same thing with these petunias.

DSC_0002Can’t remember what kind of shrub this one is. I just planted it last year, and it has the sweetest smelling flowers!  Pretty photogenic, too.

I think daisies are becoming my favorite, though.  I think some bugs like them, too!

And one of our real “daisies”, holding St. Francis’s hand. DSC_0007   I’m looking very forward to getting to know my camera more over the coming years!

The shrub with the sweet smelling flowers appears to be a gardenia. Beautiful pictures.

Love those. But the last one was the most beautiful flower of all.
