Falcone's Crossroads

Where This Meets That

Tuesday Tunage – Landon Pigg

“Tuesday Tunage” is a weekly spotlight for music I deem worthy of a spotlight. To make it worth all of our time, I’ll do my best to emphasize tunes you probably haven’t heard before that represent the art in all its glorious varieties.

Seeing as how Valentine’s Day is this week, I thought it was time for a good, mushy love song.  Enter “Falling in Love at a Coffee Shop” by Landon Pigg.

Let me say that I know nothing about Mr. Pigg, save that he’ll probably appear in a future edition of “Separated at Birth”, due to his resemblance to Ashton Kutcher, and that he can apparently write one heck of a beautiful love song.  With its sparse arrangement and lush production, “Falling in Love at a Coffee Shop” could be understandably mistaken for a new Beatles song.  And that’s saying something.
