Falcone's Crossroads

Where This Meets That

Pooh Smokes Capitalism!

Over the past few weeks, one of my posts, “Capitalism vs. ‘Capitalism‘”, has picked up a disproportionate level of daily readership.   I’m thrilled to say that this one post has averaged around a hundred views per day over the last two weeks.

That post opens with the statement, “Capitalism gets a bad wrap.”   A true enough statement, but only today’s Wednesday Wordplay post gave the negative sentiment some proportion.  Based on today’s statistical sampling, it is apparent that seven percent more people – 53% to 46% – prefer a “Rumbly Tummy Pooh” to either flavor of capitalism (one percent are presumed undecided).

Think about it . . . if this were an election, we’d be talking about “Rumbly Tummy Pooh in a landslide”!  And not even the Mayans could’ve imagined that kind of fate for us in 2012!
