Falcone's Crossroads

Where This Meets That

Week 4 – Two Milestones!

This was an exciting week all around.

First, I crossed the two milestones I mentioned last week by losing another 2.5 lbs.
– broke the 10lbs lost mark
– crossed below the 300lbs weight mark

God willing (and me working, learning, and executing), I will NEVER see 300lbs again!

On Friday night I was invited to speak to Cursillistas at St. Anna’s Catholic Church in Monroe, GA, and my topic was – you guessed it – Tip the Scales 2012!  Over two dozen people attended, and the encouragement I received afterward was truly wonderful!  Thanks again to Father Dan Toof for lending me the podium!

Yesterday, I found out about an exciting opportunity coming up in March to see the brothers of Missionaries of the Poor in person as they will be visiting Atlanta to raise funds in their own colorful way.  More details to follow.

With that, here are the updated numbers.

Not too shabby for only the first month!

Thanks again for all your prayers and support. Please continue to pray for my endurance as the going only  gets tougher from here. Please also pray for all who are connected through and will benefit from TS2012 and the M.O.P.!

If you are interested in joining the cause with a per-pound donation, or if you just have any questions, please send an email to tipthescales2012@gmail.com.

Great job, Steve! Keep up the momentum and never look back!

You can do it – I know that!
